In this key role, Tom will work closely with the leadership of our new and existing client-partners to analyze their operating environments, assess priority needs and opportunities, and provide cost-effective solutions for business success.

Tom’s goal is to fully develop the market potential of each senior living community by optimizing their lead generation, growth capacity and profitability within the context of their respective missions to serve senior adults.
In addition to addressing current market needs, Tom will also work in concert with senior living leaders to identify legitimate opportunities for market expansion and future growth using his proven skill set in the areas of planning, research, operations, finance and marketing.
An Exceptional Record of Success in Senior Living Growth
Tom brings to Sage Age Strategies over 11 years of executive-level expertise in growing both market share and profitability for senior living communities. Prior to joining Sage Age, Tom served as Executive Vice President of Marketing for a prominent senior living provider located in the southeast US. In that role, he oversaw the company’s in-house marketing team and was directly responsible for the sales and marketing efforts for the organization’s nine continuing care retirement communities across the region. Reporting to the CEO, Tom was also actively involved in the day-to-day operations and management of the parent company, as well as their individual CCRCs.
In total, Tom has over 35 years’ experience in positions of increasing authority in business development and marketing that include the highly competitive, consumer-packaged goods industry and the advertising industry, where he was founding partner for a full-service ad agency.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree and majored in Marketing, Tom is an enthusiastic, action-oriented leader who has an outstanding record of achieving business results through positive relationships, effective strategy and superior marketplace execution and performance.
